A video of two mysterious creatures surfaced on the internet and went viral soon after being shared online. One glance at the short clip and you might be of the opinion that the creatures are two aliens. However, the reality is something else. And Twitter is shocked to know the truth behind these supposed aliens.

Daniel Holland, a Twitter user, shared the video that shows two creatures with heart-shaped faces and wide-open black eyes. They stood upright and their appearance is considerably unusual and spooky.

"I'm now positive that people who claim to have seen aliens have actually just seen baby owls," Daniel captioned the post. So, the truth is that the creatures in the video are not from another world but are just two barn owls.

After being made available online, the video has garnered over 12.5 million views and almost 104K retweets. And of course, Twitter is amazed. While some people are surprised, others are in disbelief. "Thank you for destroying my belief that all baby animals are adorable," a user said.

I now begin to wonder if owls aren't in fact aliens, but your original statement may be right.
