PIERCE, Neb. (KTIV) - Firefighters in Pierce were busy Wednesday with a house fire at a mobile home.
They received the call shortly after 2pm.
When firefighters arrived smoke was coming from the home and they found the fire in the kitchen area and into the attic space above it.
It took them a while to finally get the fire out.
"We were hindered by a roof on top of a roof and it got in between the two roofs. It took us about two hours to get everything pretty much knocked down." said Steve Dolesh, Chief Pierce Fire Dept.
Plainview and Hader fire departments were also on the scene to help with the fire.
