A famous actress stayed the night at a rustic local lodge.

Jane Lynch, known for the TV series “Glee,” stayed the night at Starved Rock Lodge, confirmed the lodge’s CEO, Amy Trimble on Thursday.

Jane Lynch was born on July 14, 1960, in Dolton, Ill., according to IMBb.com. In addition to Glee, she’s also known for her work in “Wreck-It Ralph” and “Role Models.”

Ellyn Hylla of Peru said she and her family took a trolley tour Wednesday night and met again for breakfast Thursday at Starved Rock. They were heading to the dining room when they saw Lynch and a film crew working on a scene in the Great Hall.

She said Lynch’s voice was distinctive, though she was in costume. She said she believed they were filming a tourism commercial. She said the crew was working when they arrived and after they were done dining.
