A homicide investigation is underway in Mobile after police say a person was shot at a gas station food mart and then died at the hospital.

Update 9:55 p.m.: Mobile police have released a photograph of the suspect in the shooting and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

Mobile police are conducting a homicide investigation after a person shot at a gas station died Monday night at the hospital.

The victim, who was not publicly identified, was shot around 6:48 p.m. at the food mart at 424 N. Broad St., police said. They were taken to the hospital where they later died of their injuries.
