Alabama is approaching 3,000 cases of coronavirus with 11 deaths reported in Mobile.

The April 10 4 p.m. numbers from the Alabama Department of Public Health shows 2,999 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Alabama.

There are 80 reported deaths; 58 confirmed.

April 9 5 p.m. data from the Alabama Department of Public Health shows 2,810 coronavirus cases in Alabama with 77 reported deaths. Forty-eight of the deaths have been confirmed. Three-hundreds thirty three people have been hospitalized with coronavirus since March 13.

The number of coronavirus cases in Alabama has topped 2,500.

According to the April 9 9 a.m. figures from the Alabama Department of Public Health, 2,547 people in Alabama have been diagnosed with COVID-19. ADPH said 333 people have been hospitalized with the virus since March 13, but that number doesn’t reflect those who have been discharged.

Sixty-eight deaths have been reported in: Autauga (1); Baldwin (1); Chambers (8); Colbert (1); Cullman (1); Etowah (4); Houston (1); Jackson (1); Jefferson (14); Lauderdale (2); Lee (5); Macon (1); Madison (3); Marengo (1); Marion (3); Marshall (1); Mobile (8); Monroe (1); Montgomery (2); Randolph (2); Shelby (5); Tallapoosa (1); and Washington (1). Forty-eight of the deaths have been confirmed.
