Paul Pogba launches Pogdance challenge hours after inspiring Man Utd to comeback draw against Tottenham - The Sun

PAUL POGBA has launched the #Pogdance challenge - just hours after inspiring Manchester United to a point on his return to action.

The Frenchman hadn't featured for the Red Devils since suffering a recurrence of an ankle injury back in December.

He served up an impressive 27 minute cameo in North London, however, in which he won the penalty for United's crucial equaliser and generally looked close to his brilliant best.

And after the match, Pogba gleefully celebrated by busting out his best moves on Instagram.

With rapper Zerr having released a new track entitled "Pogdance", there was no song better for United's No6 to throw some shapes to after a good performance.

Red Devils fans will be thrilled to see their star man happy and healthy again, and he certainly appeared to be both as he moved to the music in his hotel room.

And after Zerr proudly posted the video of Pogba dancing to his song on his Instagram account, the midfielder gladly re-posted the video to his story, including "#PogdanceChallenge".

It's no wonder that Pogba was delighted having, in boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's words, endured an "injury nightmare" over the last ten months.

The Norwegian, however, was thrilled to have his star back in action.

He said after the match: "He’s delighted to be back on the pitch. He’s had a nine, ten-month injury nightmare. It's not been like you are out for ten months.

"It's been I'm almost back, work hard, work hard and gets back, gets injured again, has to have an operation. He was close to coming back before the lockdown and now finally he is back playing.

"I'm sure everyone can see he's got a great hunger for the game and he is a very, very good footballer."

And Solskjaer's praise wasn't over there.

He later continued: "Of course Paul’s contribution is there to be seen. He played the pass of the day when he played Marcus through and he had the skill of the day when he was fouled for the penalty.

"Paul is one of the best players in the world and it’s great to have him back. It's good to give him minutes and he'll work hard to get even fitter for next time and play more."

Most United fans will be hoping to see Pogba from the start next time out, when they host Sheffield United at Old Trafford on Wednesday evening.
