Tottenham Hotspur’s Steven Bergwijn is fit and firing again.

Spurs’ big January buy from PSV Eindhoven has the North London side leading Manchester United on Friday after a long dribble and rocket shot defied David De Gea.

The 22-year-old scored his third goal in six Premier League outings when he drove down the heart of the United box, cooking Harry Maguire like flash-fried fast food.

There was more to do for the Dutchman, who hit a hammer at goal that De Gea misjudged and punched into his goal.

Serge Aurier was credited with the assist, though even the brash Ivorian will see himself as a bit player in the goal.
