The internet is stunned after watching a video of a man who risked his life to save a wolf in a forest. Susanta Nanda of the Indian Forest Services shared the 52-second clip on Twitter and it has gone viral with over 14,000 views.
It appears that the wolf got one of its legs caught in a trap. This man noticed the animal wincing in pain and made an attempt to rescue it.
He used a stick of sorts to pin the animal down to the ground. Thereafter, he pulled the trap out with his hand from the wolf’s leg while holding the stick that pinned it down with his other hand.
Moments after removing the trap, the man retreated from the spot and fled. The wolf, as well, ran away from the area.
“You have not lived your day until you have done something for someone who can never repay you. This man risked his own life to save the wolf. He put his phone down to record in case something happened to him and did what he could to save this wolf,” Susanta Nanda said in the caption of the post.

“My faith in humanity is restored,” a user said in the comments section after watching the video while several others applauded the “tough guy” for his efforts to save the wolf.
“A real life hero,” another user said.
