Just an hour away from the hustle and bustle of Delhi lies the holistic health centre — Naad Wellness. The retreat offers curated experiences aiming towards healing the mind, body and soul through ancient practices of ayurveda, naturopathy and yoga.
Talking about the duration one should stay at the centre, Manoj Khetan, co-founder of Naad Wellness mentioned how one can feel a sense of change in overall health once they spend time here. He said, “While there are a specific number of days required to detox the body, we offer a minimum of three nights package for you to get a preview of what to expect when you come here.”
Emphasising the ever-changing lifestyle and increase in stress levels, Khetan insisted that women should visit the wellness centre to manage Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD), Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and prepare their bodies for reproduction as well as menopause.
Location
The wellness centre is located approximately 42 kilometres away from Delhi in Kundali, Haryana.

Review of Naad Wellness
I was given a warm welcome at the wellness centre where the staff greeted me with a rudraksha chain and a prayer plate. After drinking the refreshing watermelon juice in the lobby, I checked into my room which had my white kurta pyjama laid neatly on the bed. Ready for consultation, I met the doctors (both, ayurveda and naturopathy) and a routine was planned that included a meal plan and customised therapies based on my health conditions.
A usual day at the wellness centre generally begins at 6 am with a glass of bitter gourd juice followed by oil pulling (taking coconut or sesame oil in the mouth and swishing it for three to five minutes and then spitting it out). Next up on the itinerary for me was a short walk before getting into the yoga room at 7:30 am. Breakfast was scheduled at Ahara restaurant at 8:30 am after which I went for prescribed therapies — mud pack and body massages, between 10:30 am to 3 pm, squeezing in a lunch break at 1 pm. The therapies that made me feel most relaxed were Abhyanga and the therapeutic massage done with salt and oil.
The evening sessions began with meditation at 5:30 pm followed by walking on the reflexology path (a path laid with pebbles that help in blood circulation of the entire body) and regular walks in the garden. Dinner was usually served at 8 pm and I used to retire for the day by 10 pm. With no television sets in the room, meal plans consisting of gluten-free and non-dairy products, and exercising my mind and body by practising meditation and yoga daily – I felt refreshed. I can happily share that spending three nights at the wellness centre improved my sleep and overall health.
Food & Dining
Surprisingly the food at Naad Wellness was delish! I say surprisingly because when we talk about wellness centres, usually the food provided is cooked with less oil and salt to make it healthy and lacks enough flavour, however, here one can expect luxe meals with distinct flavours.
Replacing wheat with millets such as jowar, barnyard, little millet and buckwheat, the food is gluten and dairy free and one thing to note here is that only after finishing the first course, the next one is served. This helps in the proper digestion of food. In the end, a choice of tea (without milk and sugar) is provided.
Some of the dishes I tried for the first time were – carrot chapati, quinoa pasta, millet idli, millet rice, millet chapati noodles, moonglet fettuccine and sesame seed ladoo. On the last day of my stay, for dinner, I was served a sizzler platter consisting of millet noodles, lots of vegetables, lettuce leaves and tofu grated like cheese on top of it. It was the most special goodbye meal.
