A turkey sandwich should essentially contain, well, turkey, right? But it appears that a man in New York, who ordered for a turkey sandwich at a grocery store, got more of spinach in between two slices of bread than the real deal.
Josh Gondelman, a Twitter user, shared a picture of the turkey sandwich that he had ordered. Although, turkey slices were visible in the sandwich, the amount of spinach stuffed in between the bread is what the internet cannot fathom.
"I don't know what message she's trying to send, but the lady at my bodega snuck an entire salad into my turkey sandwich," Josh Gondelman tweeted along with the picture. Bodegas are described as grocery stores in New York.

The picture has gone viral on Twitter and has generated a discussion in the comments section of Josh's post. While most users expressed displeasure over the fact that it was more of a spinach sandwich than turkey, some others didn't appear to mind the fact.
"Unpopular opinion: That looks good as hell," a user said. On the other hand, another user seemed to have cracked the code. "She accidentally got too much spinach on the last produce order and is trying to cover it up so her boss doesn't find out...spinach laundering," the comment read.
"This is a free bonus salad," another added.

She just wants to make sure you’re getting in your leafy greens. How sweet of her

Josh, in the meantime, also explained his plight.
I pulled out 85% of the spinach and ate it with a fork.

Muna I pulled out the spinach and ate it like a fully separate salad with a fork!
