Man killed trying to cross west Mobile highway - AL.com

One man was killed Saturday evening after being struck by a vehicle while trying to cross a highway in West Mobile.

Nino Prisco, 30, was trying to cross the US 98 in West Mobile when he was struck at around 11:30 p.m. by a 2016 Mercedes Benz GLC 300. The accident happened near to Charmingdale Drive East, about 1 miles east of Semmes, according to a press release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Prisco was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The driver of the Mercedes, Larry Eatmon, 62, of Semmes, was not injured in the crash.

No further information is available as troopers continue to investigate.
