On-flight horror stories are nightmarish, there is no denying that. Your journey on an airplane can become the worst time of your life if one of your co-passengers turns out to be non-cooperative. However, in some situations it is often hard to come to a conclusion whose fault it is and a similar incident has left internet divided.
A video of two passengers on an American Airlines flight is going viral on Twitter and it has left the internet confused. The 1 minute 45 second long clip was shared by a Twitter user @AmicaAli and it shows a woman recording a man sitting behind her and a man continuously hitting her seat.
A little concerned that @AmericanAir didn’t feel this was a problem.
Not sure about the rest of you, but I would surely consider someone continually tapping on the back of my seat to be a nuisance. https://t.co/DmRKUpA36O pic.twitter.com/Xts7hfQAcw

The video was shared online with the caption, "A little concerned that @AmericanAir didn’t feel this was a problem. Not sure about the rest of you, but I would surely consider someone continually tapping on the back of my seat to be a nuisance."
In fact, the woman Wendi, also tweeted to the airlines saying that she was troubled by the man on her flight.
After much consideration, and exhausting every opportunity for #AmericanAirlines to do the right thing, I’ve decided to share my assault, from the passenger behind me, and the further threats, from an American Airline flight attendant. She offered him a complimentary cocktail!

In the video, one can see that the man sitting on the last seat of the airline and Wendi had her seat reclined. The man can be seen steadily punching the seat in which Wendi, who was recording the video, was sitting in retaliation and is clearly frustrated.
After the video was shared online it managed to get over 49.4k views and was shared widely. People were divided over the fact that who was at fault; the man or the woman. While some said that the woman was rude for reclining her seat, others called the man childish for behaving like that.
Take a look at some of the opinions shared by Twitterati:
Reclining a seat when someone asks you is a little rude. Jiggling the seat of the person in front of you is the kind of inability to cope with an imperfect world that ASTOUNDS ME.

I’m a frequent flyer, IMO: The seat reclines= end of discussion. Whoever sits there has every right to use any and every feature that comes with that seat. What’s so controversial about it????

She’s right. He’s being a child. That’s why people pay extra for those upgrades, homie.

The only time you get to complain about the person in front of you is when they jerk the seat back and forth to many times, or this: pic.twitter.com/r4O4RDCc9I

Anyone, in 2020, who reclines their seat on a plane is a duchebag

@MarinaMarraco I travel over 100,000 miles a year. He is in the wrong. It’s not her fault he picked a seat that doesn’t recline. He’s the instigator and a bully. Chances he does that with a male in the seat in front of himis slim.

im 6'2'' nobody is reclining over me. man woman or child.

just because your seat can break my legs doesnt mean im gonna let you
The Airline is WRONG. That seat should not be a Recliner.

It's her personal choice, to recline the seat she paid for.
However, she should have considered the person behind her. As for the Man, punching the back of her seat. Is typical male behavior-trumpCountry. He's a BullyPunk.
How is this even a question? She is clearly in the wrong, 1) for reclining, 2) not asking & not pulling forward when it was a clear problem, 3) for filming it, & 4) for sending it in to Bravo. (Granted, he could’ve handled it better).

A select few thought that both were rude.
Both are wrong, both are inconsiderate.

What do you think? Who is at the fault here?
