5 suspects arrested in connection with Mobile homicide - AL.com

Mobile police has arrested five individuals in connection to the slaying of a 39-year-old man that occurred Saturday morning.

Officers discovered a man suffering from a fatal gunshot wound in the backyard of a home on Wealthy Street. The man was later identified as Joseph Carter, 39.

Mobile police announced Monday evening that the following five individuals were taken into custody in the death of Carter. They were all charged with murder.

• Lawrence Buford, 30
• Lacey Hickbottom, 17
• Marlasha Hickbottom, 19
• Martha Hickbottom, 35
• Jeremiah Wright, 20
