Surprise! A heartwarming TikTok video captures the emotional moment two dog best friends reunited in the street after more than a month apart

There he is! Dog owner Stefani Maryn, from Hamilton, Ontario, captured the video of her black Labrador mix Samantha excitedly spotting her best friend Baldur
As soon as she sees her best pal, Samantha, a black Labrador mix, starts barking excitedly, turning back towards Stefani before pulling her towards Baldur, who is walking with his owner on the other side of the road.
Samantha uses all of her might to pull Stefani along the sidewalk towards Baldur, who is barking happily in anticipation of the reunion.
When they finally meet, the two pups rub noses and continue to bark at one another excitedly, while their delighted owners hold on to their leashes.
The video, which was posted last week, has brought joy to millions of TikTok users, racking up an impressive 3.6 million views and more than 843,000 likes.
Speaking to DailyMail.com about the sweet clip, Stefani revealed that the reunion came as a complete surprise to both her and Liesl, who have both been stunned by the overwhelmingly positive response to the video.
Stefani, who is originally from Colorado, where she rescued Samantha, revealed that her dog and Baldur have been friends for years, after meeting three years ago when Stefani first moved to Hamilton.

Coincidence: Stefani told DailyMail.com that the sweet meeting was a complete surprise to both owners
'Three years ago when Samantha and I moved to Hamilton, Baldur was her first friend, who quickly became her soulmate,' Stefani said.
'Baldur, a rescue from the SPCA in Hamilton quickly fell for Samantha as well. Samantha's favorite pastime is leaning in and licking Baldur's face during their walks together.'
However it was just over a year ago that the pooches' friendship was cemented, when Samantha helped Baldur out of a terrifying situation.
'We knew they were very best friends after an incident last year when there were fireworks being set off in the neighborhood and Baldur ran under the back deck and was too frightened to come back out,' Stefani recalled.
'After much bribery and patience, I received an urgent call from Liesl around midnight, asking if Samantha could come over to help.
'Samantha and I went over and she ran right into the backyard and offered him her usual barks of affection, as she does, and he came bounding out, breaking the lattice to get to her.'

Inseparable: 'Samantha's favorite pastime is leaning in and licking Baldur's face during their walks together,' Stefani said

'Soulmates': Both Stefani and Liesl, Baldur's owner, have been stunned by the reaction to the video, which has racked up more than 3.6 million views on TikTok
But while Samantha and Baldur were used to seeing each other regularly, the coronavirus pandemic has changed that - and the adorable pups have been separated for more than a month while much of the world has been in lockdown.
Coincidentally, Stefani revealed that she had bumped into Liesl the day before the big reunion, when the two of them were chatting about how much the two dogs would love to see each other again.
Still, neither thought any more of the conversation - until the next day when they happened upon each other in the street.
'This video was not staged,' Stefani shared. 'I was out for a run the day before and bumped into Liesl and Baldur on their walk. We both commented how excited Samantha would be to see Baldur [and] the very next day, when I was walking Samantha during my lunch hour from work, I could see Baldur and Liesl walking towards us.
'We laughed about what a coincidence the reunion was, and how excited they were to see each other, as we predicted.
'The overwhelming reception of this video has been beautiful. While neither of us expected such a large response, we are thrilled that their reunion and friendship has brought joy and been relatable during this difficult time.'
