Mandi Castillo & Thunderstorm Artis Face Off in 'The Voice' Knockouts - Billboard

The Voice Knockout Rounds kicked into high gear on Monday night (April 20), when Team Legend four-chair-turns Mandi Castillo and Thunderstorm Artis went head-to-head.

To start things off, Castillo delivered a passionate rendition of Ben E. King's "Stand by Me," which ended with her coach John Legend shouting "Beautiful!" while giving a standing ovation.

Next up was Artis, who brought the cool factor to Legend's "Preach," with his sultry rasp and an acoustic guitar.

The decision was tough for Legend, who admitted, "I think the world of you as vocalists. You’re just so good at what you do and I love the heart that you put into everything you do."

Ultimately, he chose Castillo. "You were just flawless," he told the songstress. "The coolest thing about your voice is the vibrato. When you kind of dance around the note and flutter, it makes everything sound better."

But the Thunderstorm hadn't passed quite yet. As he walk down the stairs to hug his coach goodbye, Nick Jonas slammed down on his button to save him.
