Newborn elephant tries to take its first steps in adorable viral video. Internet loves - India Today

The internet absolutely loves wildlife videos. Especially clips that feature baby elephants. A video of a newborn elephant making an attempt to stand on its feet is winning the internet and has gone viral on social media.

Indian Forest Service officer Susanta Nanda shared the 29-second clip on Twitter on Monday and it has garnered over 77,000 views already.

The clip shows the newborn elephant making an attempt to stand and follow its mother down the forest.

"A twenty minutes old calf. Finding its feet and dancing into his new world. Feet that will take him miles and miles in the coming days," Susanta Nanda said in the caption of his post.

The comments section is filled with words such as adorable and cute while a user also said, "And the mother is so excited and worried about the young one."

Another comment reads, "The joy that the mother and child are experiencing is literally infectious. May the child grow up to enjoy the abundant fruits that mother Nature provides."
