Celebrity tributes are pouring in for model Kim Porter, the former girlfriend of rapper Diddy.
"Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter. I ask that you give the families privacy at this time," her representative, Cindi Berger, confirmed to USA TODAY.
The model and actress, 47, was found unresponsive in her San Fernando Valley home in Toluca Lake Thursday, where she was pronounced dead, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner.
TMZ reported that authorities responded to a 911 call of a "patient in cardiac arrest."
However, it's not clear what Porter died of. "At this time, an autopsy is pending and a cause of death has not been determined," the coroner's office said.
Earlier in the day, LAPD spokesperson Jeff Lee told USA TODAY that a death investigation was underway.
Lee added that the call came at 11:38 Thursday morning.
Singer Lenny Kravitz reflected on "the times with you and your family over the years," adding they "will be treasured." "Rest in power Kim Porter. My condolences to the Combs and Porter families," he continued.
Porter had an on-again, off-again relationship with Diddy (born Sean Combs) that spanned over a decade. The pair officially called it quits in 2007 after 13 years of dating, but have remained friendly, often spending holidays together. Porter frequently posted photos of Diddy on her Instagram account.
They have three children together – son Christian, 20, and twin daughters D'Lila Star and Jessie James, who turn 12 next month. The music mogul also raised 27-year-old Quincy Brown, Porter's son with record producer and singer Al B. Sure.
In addition to modeling, Porter appeared on the 2006 TV series "Wicked Wicked Games" and in the 2011 film "Mama I Want to Sing."
Last week, Porter took to Instagram to share a picture of Diddy with his brood of children. She captioned the image, "Love."
USA TODAY has reached out to Diddy's representatives for comment.
Many other celebrities also took to social media to offer their condolences to the family.
